Your first grow — a walkthrough

Your hub is online and your system is commissioned. This walkthrough takes you from a ready hub to your first running grow.

1. Pair your devices

Open the Verdalio app and let auto-discovery find your Zigbee sensors and actuators. Cheap Zigbee 3.0 devices are welcome — ML calibration corrects them.

2. Pick a recipe

Browse the recipe marketplace or build your own. A recipe describes what the plant needs — pH, EC, light, dosing bands — independent of your hardware.

3. Bind roles

In the Start Growing wizard, tell the recipe which probe reads your reservoir and which pump doses it. This is the one step that ties portable instructions to your specific setup.

4. Start growing

Press start. The hub's controller reads your sensors, compares them to the recipe's bands, and acts only when needed. Watch the compliance band fill in on Analytics.
